Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s forthcoming film Gabbar Singh is currently progressing its shoot in Pollachi. A song composed by Devi Sri Prasad is being canned on Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan.
Gabbar Singh showcases Pawan Kalyan as a rude and corrupt cop while Shruti Haasan as a village belle. The film also casts Suhasini, Nagineedu, Ali and Ajay in prominent roles and Abhimanyu Singh as the negative lead. Gabbar Singh is the official remake of Bollywood hit Dabangg but director Harish Shankar has made necessary changes to the original script to suit it to the tastes of Telugu audiences.
Pawan Kalyan’s Teenmaar producer Ganesh Babu is producing Gabbar Singh too under the same banner Parameswara Arts. Gabbar Singh is expected to reach big-screens in April 2012.
