Film: Endhukante Premanta
Rating:2.5/5
Starring: Ram, Tamanna
Director: Karunakaran
Producer: Sravanti Kishore
Banner: Sri Sravanthi Movies
Music: G V Prakash Kumar
Story:
Ram (Ram) is a happy go lucky guy who flies to Paris on a business reason and he meets Sravanthi (Tamanna) in a different situation. She helps Ram in flying to India from a situation and seeks help from him to travel to India. However, Ram comes to know a shocking twist and what happens then is the rest of Endukante Premanta story.
Performances:
Ram is highly energetic as always and he carried off the classy lover boy role with ease and style. His dances are a treat to watch and his dialogue delivery and the timing is appreciable.
Tamanna looked gorgeous and this is one of her best-looking roles. She delivered a great performance and lived up to the expectations. Shyaji Shinde is apt, Brahmanandam is regular and brief, Nagineedu, Anu Haasan are good. Others did their bit required.
Technical Analysis:
Cinematography by Andrews is on top-notch and stands out. The entire film was captured quite beautifully. GV Prakash’s composed songs are not up to the mark but the background score is appealing and elevating. Dialogues are good, Editing isn’t crisp and could be trimmed more. Screenplay is weak and Karunakaran failed miserably with narration. Sravanthi Movies production values are rich.
Analysis:
Karunkaran has come up with a unique and complicated storyline, which is inspired from the film Just Like Heaven but he faltered in the narration and in adapting it to suit the Telugu audiences’ style. The story moves with illogical scenes with unexpected twists. The pace of the film picks up here and then and offers some entertainment but due to the proper script and lengthy run time, it takes you to boredom. The narration and execution are bad and one misses the Karunakaran brand in Endukante Premanta. Apart from Ram’s dances and Tamanna’s glamour and aspects like cinematography nothing excites you.
Final Verdict:
Endukante Premanta misses Karunakaran’s brand style!!!
