Story:
In Dandeli forests, a team sets for the shooting of a movie. The Hero (Kamal Kamaraju), second Hero (Sri), Heroine (Adonica), Director (Srinivas Avasarala) and producer (Anchor Vijay) rent out a house and they wait for the arrival of rest of the crew. In this forest, a psychotic masked person roams around, killing each of the unfortunate persons crossing his path. Now, he aims at killing this movie team, one after the other. Sri actually joins the crew to search his friends, who are missing.
Will the team be able to escape the Psychic killer?? Where does the climax appear to the killing?? Here goes the rest of the story.
Positive Points:
This film has been shot very carefully with full of effort. This is revealed in the final outcome of the film itself. The locations and framing the psychic action do require a lot of effort. The performances of Kamal Kamaraju, Bannerjee and Srinivas Avasarala are perfectly good. Madhavi Latha looks good as well and Aronica is just average. Sound effects appear to be good at some places and one or two killing sequences look amazing. The film has a little pace increased, towards the interval.
Negative Points:
The film has a direful screenplay and the writing is ghastly. When some of your friends go missing, you are expected to be careful and show some concern. It appears as if the team members have not been told this. One by one gets killed in the team and the others behave perfectly normal as if nothing has happened!!! Sri lacks everything, needed for the role of Aravind. His screen presence and his articulation are too bad. His performance is really irritating. The story has many loopholes and many scenes lack the logic!!!!
The story regarding the change of an ugly boy into a psychic killer is very shallow. The film has a long runtime, testing the patience of the audiences. Though the film aims at being a thriller, it makes the viewers bored and disappointed at times. The climax of the flick is terrible and most of the viewers end up tittering and jeering the actors at the climax!!!!
Verdict:
The team went through a lot of efforts for the shooting. But, all the efforts are wasted because of the bad script and terrible direction and editing. The film lacks logic in most of the scenes. If one goes in, expecting a good thriller like “A Film by Aravind”, it is sure to be disappointing. Finally, it can be considered as a bad excuse of a “Thriller”.
