Story:

Akash (Aadi) is a happy go lucky guy who doesn’t have a positive belief on love or girls. His friend Kittu (Vennela Kishore) falls in love with Lalli (Chinmayee Ghatrazu) who is just a friend in Facebook and doesn’t know her. However, when he was supposed to meet her, he sends his friend Akash due to fear and same is the case with Lalli, who sends her friend Lavanya ( Shanvi). The duo falls in love with each other and Lavanya’s father Mangalampalli Maharadhi (Rajendra Prasad) who comes to aware of this enters the scene. Will Maharadhi accepts his daughter’s love and will the couple succeed in love forms crux of Lovely.

Performances:

Aadi was quite impressive. He has proved his mettle in his debut film through wonderful dance moves and his second film also proved him as a good actor in emotional scenes.

Shanvi makes an impressive performance and as a first-timer, she has done a good job. The actress looked cute and matched in dances with her co-star Aadi.

Rajendra Prasad was perfect as Heroine’s father role and it is always a treat to watch his expressions in hilarious scenes. He equally does well in emotional scenes as well. Vennela Kishore is good and brings out good laughs, Ahuti Prasad is impressive and Paruchuri Gopala Krishna is lively. Others were adequate.

Technical Analysis:

Cinematography is on top-notch and the film looked quite colorful and every frame looked rich. Dialogues are good, Anoop Rubens music is an asset, the songs are neatly shot and background score is striking. Fights have been choreographed well and dances are pleasing. Editing is crisp and B.Jaya’s direction is fine.

Analysis:

Lovely has a good entertainment in the first half packed with the romantic track between the leads, action scenes and hilarious comedy but the second half loses the plot and the narration is a bit weak. The climax was dull. The father-daughter sentiment scenes were not so effective. The story is routine and screenplay was okay. The second half looked artificial and over dramatic.

Final Verdict:

One time watcher
