Tollywood discovered a 1 crore worth market in Malayalam cinema, courtesy Allu Arjun. His Happy film is the first Telugu movie to do good business in Kerala. After that Allu Arjun’s films are being dubbed in Malayalam as a custom. Now every hero is planning to capitalize on the Malayalam market.
Two more successful Telugu films are now being dubbed in Malayalam. Naga Chaitanya’s 100% Love and Nani’s Ala Modalaindi Malayalam versions will strike the screens shortly. Both these films did so well at the box office as they targeted younger audience.
Of late Malayalam movies are completely dependant on young audience and this is the right time for these movies to make the most of it. There are many other films that are planning to hit the Mallu market.
